hey goddesses! I hope 2021 is being kind to you so far 🤍 2020 was a crazy ride, and I know must of us are glad to see the back of her. I’ve been seeing a lot of posts on social media about how 2020 was a year for hibernation, reflection and cocooning and 2021 is all about blossoming and spreading our wings. I love that idea!

even though it’s still an overwhelming time for everyone, don’t write 2021 off just yet. In today’s blog, I’ll be sharing all my tips on how to harness your goddess energy and claim back your power this year! we seriously deserve it 💗

  1. lean into the law of attraction

goddesses claim all their manifestations! 2020 gave us a chance to reflect on where we are now in our lives and where we want to be. Get writing down all your goals and aspirations for this year. Be super specific in what you want and set timeframes, with a clear action plan of how you’re gonna achieve your goals. You could use a specific planner such as this law of attraction one. Make yourself a cute vision board too! Live every moment as if you have everything you want. To learn more about the law of attraction, check out this blog.

self care isn t selfish signage

2. Prioritise your self care

goddesses know how important self care is. Everyone’s idea of self care is different, but it has to be whatever make you feel happy, relaxed and nourished. For some people, that’s having an at home spa night, with face masks, glasses of wine and a big bubble bath. For others, it could be curling up in a big armchair with a hot chocolate and a book. Whatever your idea of self care, set aside time each day to do some of it! Perhaps take a goddess bath with Epsom salts and flower petals. There’s loads of self care ideas in this article.

3. Consume goddess content

goddesses are inspired by other goddesses. Consume as much positive, uplifting and nurturing content as possible from books, podcasts, music and videos. Curate your social media feeds to reflect your goddess nature. I love reading poetry, and Rupi Kaur’s ‘home body’ is a beautiful reflection of what it means to be a woman. You can also get inspired by goddesses from previous times in books such as ‘Great Goddesses’ by Nikita Gill.

4. Break up with drama

goddesses don’t do drama. Same with gossip, negativity and bad blood. You are too powerful to get involved in petty spats and to harbour negative feelings. Erase the energy vampires in your life. Focus on you! Drama can extend to your mind too. Divorce your inner critic who never has anything nice to say and replace it with positive affirmations only. Be your own hype girl! I LOVE these affirmation cards by Louise Hay.

5. Be the best version of you

goddesses nourish their bodies. Find workouts that suit you; that doesn’t mean running marathons! It could mean doing a slow Pilates routine each morning or a walk on your lunch break. Make some healthy choices with your diet; eat more fresh food, fruits, veg, all the good stuff. Take your vitamins! Being nourished from the inside is the secret to looking your best on the outside. If you don’t know where to start with vitamins and supplements, check out this post.

6. Step into your spirituality

goddesses are committed to their spiritual growth. Start that meditation challenge! We all have at least 10 minutes a day to connect with our minds so start prioritising it. Practice yoga each day, again, even if just for a few minutes. Learn about the moon and it’s cycles, astrology, philosophy. When you open yourself to the world, the world opens to you.

With September in full swing, fall is officially here! The nights are drawing in, pumpkins are in stores and it’s that little bit colder when you wake up in the mornings.

We all have our favourite parts of fall, and one of my favourite parts is making my home feel warm and cozy in the last months of the year. Having somewhere to curl up with a hot chocolate and good book makes me feel warm and fuzzy, and is a great way of practicing the Danish tradition of Hygge – read more on Hygge here!

Each year, I find new ways to make my home fall-friendly, and in this post I’m going to share five ways that I’ll be decorating my home this year to make me feel my absolute coziest!

Add Some Soft Lighting

Lighting can instantly make a home more cozy, and it is a very important element of hygge. To achieve the cosy feeling of hygge, it’s essential for the lighting to be warm, soft and comforting. Candles are a must to create that dim, warm light so make sure you have a couple in every room. Fairy lights or clip lights like these are also very hygge, and can add to the cosy, comfy atmosphere. If you have a fireplace, use the light of that too.

Bring The Outside In

To bring the outside in, wood and plants are must haves in your home. Wood is essential for making your home hygge, as the Danes believe that the nature outside should be brought into the home. Think about investing in some wooden furniture, or on a smaller scale, some woody decorations and ornaments such as rattan baskets like these. Just like wood can help to bring nature into your home, so can houseplants. Whether it be a big palm tree or just some succulents dotted around, houseplants are a great addition to a home and, more specifically, a hygge home. Read my houseplant guide for some plant-spiration.

Add Textures With Blankets and Cushions

While including some hard textures such as wood to your cozy home, it is important to mix up the textures to provide variety. Having some soft and fluffy textures in your home can provide a good contrast with the hard wood but also add to your comfort and cosiness. Invest in some thick blankets and throws to wrap yourself up in, as well as some cosy cushions and pillows. Perhaps even try a weighted blanket like this to make yourself even warmer and cozier!

Include Fall Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy can be a great way of making your home smell autumnal, comforting and cozy. Candles can provide perfect lighting but also if you buy some with scents such as pumpkin, cinnamon or cookie dough, you can create a festive and cosy atmosphere and emulate the aroma of baking. This can also be achieved with reed diffusers, which also provide Hygge wood, essential oil diffusers like this one and wax melts.

Display Books

Books can make me feel very cozy – the smell of the pages, gripping storylines and the ritual of settling down to read in a big armchair. Displaying books in your home can be the perfect way to make it feel homely, whether it is on shelves or a bookcase, on a coffee table, or simply stacked on your side tables.

Let me know how you’re preparing your home for fall!

Lots of love,

Natalie

With a lot of the world still under quarantine, many of us around the world are trying to cope with being inside, and trying to think of ways to spend our time. A lot of people are using this time to develop themselves personally or ‘glow up’.

There are many different ways to glow up and in this post, I’ll be sharing some easy ways that we can use these months at home to spend time developing ourselves (Or glowing up!) mind, body and soul, so that we can Improve all aspects of our life!

*This article contains affiliate links, meaning I receive a small amount of money if purchases are made through them*

Mind

Plan Out Your Goals

Use this time to consider what goals and aspirations that you would like to achieve in the next 6 months, year and 5 years. Go about making mini goals that you can easily accomplish that will help you achieve your bigger dreams. I love this Law of Attraction Planner to help me manifest my goals!

Let Go of Toxic Relationships

While in isolation, we have all been missing seeing and spending time with our family and friends. But are there any people who you really haven’t missed? Do you feel better without them in your life? If so, it could be time to part ways.

Declutter Your Home

Use your time at home to organise your space, and be honest about things in your home that you no longer need. Donate clothes and books to charity, or sell your items on sites such as Depop and Poshmark. Check out Marie Kondo’s book on tidying up for organisation inspiration!

Explore Stress Management

Having so much time on our hands means that we finally have time to start exploring ways of taking care of our mental health. Research ways to manage stress and anxiety, such as breathing techniques (click here to discover the best breathing techniques for anxiety).

Learn New Skills

Learning new skills and continuing to learn during lockdown is a great way to use your time at the moment. These skills could be learning a new language, taking a course or simply becoming a more regular reader. Read my post, How To Learn Something New Everyday for more inspiration.

Body

Find An Exercise Routine That Works For You

We all know that moving our body is essential for mental and physical health, but it can be hard to find the right exercise for us. The great thing at the moment is that we have time to try out lots of different workouts that we usually wouldn’t have time for! Research different exercise methods to find one you enjoy. Motivate yourself by investing in some new workout clothes! I’m OBSESSED with these tie dye leggings.

Research Healthy Recipes

Similar to how we now have time to experiment with exercise, the same can be said for food. Invest in some new cookbooks or find inspiration online (Pinterest is great for food inspo!). You could also look into meal prepping, and learn new recipes.

Pamper Yourself

Do you usually find it difficult to fit pampering and self care into your routine? If so, now is the PERFECT time to start practicing it. Take time to look after your outer self such as following a good skincare routine, looking after your hair and keeping up with your body hair maintenance (should you want to). In lockdown, I’ve been using this Billie razor and it definitely lives up to the hype!

Take Your Vitamins

I’m a big believer in supplementing your diet with vitamins and minerals. I take vitamins daily to keep me feeling energised and to keep anxiety at bay. Check out my viral post ‘Supplements You Should Take For Your Mental Health’ to find the best supplements to start taking.

Soul

Begin A Yoga/Stretching Routine

Starting your day with some stretches has been scientifically proven to make you healthier and happier. Find a quick and easy stretching routine that you can do just after you wake up to get you ready for the day. Having a ritual like this will make sure you go into your day feeling calm and centred. I love this rose gold yoga mat from Alo.

Practice Mindfulness Meditation

Take 5-10 minutes out of your day to sit quietly with your thoughts and take some breaths. Perhaps you could begin a meditation challenge with an app such as Headspace. I am currently running weekly mindfulness sessions via Zoom! To learn more, contact me via contactanatoli@gmail.com or @nataliecoombs on Instagram.

Speak To A Professional

If you are struggling with your mental health during lockdown, or if you have suffered with anxiety, depression or self esteem issues for a long time, don’t hesitate to seek help. To learn more about the coaching I offer, check out my Coaching information page.

Create A Vision Board

Imagine your dream life – your job, your house, your wardrobe – and create a board full of pictures of this life! Cut out photos you see in magazines, find pics on the internet or Pinterest and make your board look pretty with colourful pins and decorations. This pretty cork board is currently on sale!

Get Into Nature (Where Possible)

While in lockdown, we have obviously been limited in how much we can get out into the fresh air. If you are lucky enough to have a garden, or live in the countryside, make the most of nature by getting out for a walk or cycle, or just sitting in your garden. Alternatively, simply opening a window will allow you to have fresh air if you aren’t able to get outside!

Let me know how you are glowing up during quarantine by commenting!

Stay safe,

While we are all in lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, the world is currently a very anxious and fearful place. Naturally, we’re all anxious about the unknown and it can be hard to relax and let go of all our worries when they feel so overwhelming.

At Anatoli Wellness, we always love sharing the best ways to reduce anxiety and destress. We’ve long spoken about our love of aromatherapy and all it’s benefits, so when Scentered reached out, we were beyond excited.

Scentered are an aromatherapy brand from the UK, and we were fortunate enough to receive their De-Stress Candle from their range. In this blog post, we’ll be reviewing the candle while also discussing the benefits of aromatherapy to de-stress.

The De-Stress candle is made from made from a custom blend of natural waxes, sustainably sourced and non-GM, with pure essentials oils. The main three essential oils used in the De-Stress candle are chamomile, neroli and mandarin. Let’s look at the benefits of these different essential oils.

Chamomile

Chamomile is great for reducing anxiety and promoting a restful nights sleep. Having chamomile near your bed before you sleep is a wonderful hack for falling asleep quickly.

Neroli

Neroli has many benefits, including those similar to chamomile, such as anxiety relief and insomnia. It is also said to relieve symptoms of a cold, reduce headache and lower blood pressure.

Mandarin

Mandarin oil is great for anxiety reduction, insomnia and high blood pressure. It’s a super uplifting scent, so can also improve mood and boost positivity!

When we opened up our Scentered gift, we were blown away! The lovely green colour box that the candle comes in is such an elegant and sophisticated touch that showed the quality of the product from the outset.

We love the mix of essential oils in the candle too – they make for such a beautiful, relaxing and rich scent. A lot of the time, we find candles can be lacklustre in scent, especially after a few burns. But even after a week of burning, the De-Stress candle retained it’s lovely scent. The neroli in particular is so soothing and comforting, and the mandarin is great for boosting positivity.

We’re always looking for ways to make our space feel more zen and spa-like and the addition of this candle has truly made our space feel like a zen, relaxation room that you’d find in a spa. As we’re all at home now, it is the perfect time to invest in a beautiful candle that makes our homes smell amazing while also benefitting our mental health.

We would definitely recommend purchasing the Scentered De-Stress candle if you are looking for ways to make your home a relaxing sanctuary during this anxious time. We are so excited to see what Scentered do next!

Lots of love,

Natalie

Due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, most of us are being advised to stay at home to practice social distancing. While many of us are lucky enough to be able to work from home, it may be your first experience of doing so.

If you aren’t used to working from home, it can be hard to know how to structure your days, stay productive and motivate yourself to actually do work!

In this post, I’ll be sharing 7 ways that I stay productive and motivated while working from home, and some hacks to make the experience run smoothly.

Photo of Person Holding Alarm Clock

Keep A Sleep Schedule

If you know that you don’t physically have to go into work, it can be tempting to go to bed later than usual and lie in the next morning. This is a surefire way to kill your productivity for the rest of the day! Be strict with yourself, and keep your usual sleep schedule. By waking up early, you’ll feel more productive and motivated, and be able to get more stuff done.

Create A Good Morning Routine

A way to make getting up earlier easier is to create a morning routine that you look forward to. In my post, Optimal Healthy Morning Routine , I outline an example of what a great morning routine looks like. For some people, working out sets them up for the day. Perhaps you would like to read, take time to meditate or work on a creative hobby. The most important thing is to make yourself a nutritious breakfast so you feel energised and ready for your day at home (click here for ideas!)

Write Down Your 3 Most Important Tasks

Writing down your 3 MITs will help you establish which tasks you need to prioritise. Think of these tasks as the ones that absolutely MUST get done, before you do anything else. I like to complete my MITs first thing in the morning. This makes me feel productive and proactive, and motivates me to continue to work hard throughout the day. Writing down your tasks also means you are 80% more likely to achieve what you set out!

Plan Out Your Day

While working from home, it’s important that you always know what you should be working on at a given time. This is so that we never feel at a loose end or that we’re just twiddling our thumbs. Plan out as much of your day as you’re able to, including meals and down time. This can be done by the hour (this is good if you’re easily bored!), or by time of day. Plan 2 pieces of work you want to work on in the morning and 2 in the afternoon.

Time Block To Avoid Distractions

Time blocking is a great way to stay productive while working from home. The idea is, you block out a certain amount of time to complete a certain task. Give yourself an hour, for example, to go through your emails. For this hour, you ONLY go through your emails. Set a timer, and only once you have completed the hour can you go on your phone, grab a snack etc. Time blocking can be done for exercising and recreational activities too.

Have Plenty Of Breaks

While it’s important to stay productive while working from home, it’s equally important to keep your wellbeing and mental health in check. You can do this by ensuring that you give yourself regular breaks to grab a drink, have a snack and even take a power nap if you’re feeling very drowsy. Even if you feel like you don’t ‘need’ a break, every hour stand up and stretch – take a few deep breaths, too. Your body and mind will thank you.

Create A Productive Environment

It’s so important that you have somewhere quiet, organised and calm to work. This may be harder if you have a busy household, however as long as you’re not working from bed or the couch that’s okay! Try to pick a quiet place in your home where you have a table or desk. Keep this space tidy and organised so that it’s somewhere that you enjoy working in everyday. just because you’re at home, it doesn’t mean that you can leave papers and banana peels on your desk.

I hope you found some productivity inspiration with those 7 hacks! Happy working from home!

With everyone being told to stay at home and isolate themselves, you may be worried that the time indoors away from friends and social events will make you feel bored, lonely and depressed.

However, there are some ways to alleviate these feelings, and ensure that you have lots of things to do so you don’t feel at a loose end.  Here are some tips to make sure that you stay productive and motivated during self-isolation, while combating low mood.

Woman in Gray Shirt Sitting on Bed

Create Healthy Distractions

To distract yourself from all of the negativity going on in the world, think of ideas of things you would enjoy doing that would lift your mood. These could be recreational activities such as watching a new TV show or movie, playing board games or reading books. Or perhaps you fancy starting a new hobby or skill, such as learning a new language, cooking new meals or decluttering your home. Take this time to focus on your own self development – practice new relaxation techniques, begin meditating or do at-home workouts.

Plan Your Days Out

Use a diary or planner to plan out the things you want to do that day.  This will eliminate the feeling that you have nothing to do, or feeling as though you’re twiddling your thumbs.  How you want to plan out your day is up to you, but some ideas could be:

  • Setting 3 goals for yourself for the day
  • Setting 5 tasks to be done
  • Planning your day by the hour
  • Planning by the time of day (morning, afternoon, evening)
  • Setting a timetable

Make Your Space Somewhere You Enjoy Being

It is essential that the space we are in most (eg. Bedroom, workspace) is somewhere we enjoy being.  Make sure it’s kept clean and tidy, and decorated with your favourite things such as plants and photographs.  While going out is limited, get fresh air by opening windows and going into your garden for regular breaks.  Try not to stay cooped up in one place in your house, instead spend time in different rooms if possible for a change of scenery.

Get Active

Although it may seem that you are limited in terms of activity in exercise at the moment, there are so many ways to get active while being at home.  There are millions of at-home workouts that can be done via YouTube that fit your interests and fitness.  Perhaps you could begin a fitness challenge or a yoga challenge, and make it a goal to improve daily.  Remember that if you feel well, you can leave the house to exercise once a day, so make that a walk, run or cycle.

Woman Wearing White Sleeveless Top

Prioritise Your Self Care

There is no better time to begin practicing self care, or deepen your existing practice. Take time out to nourish your mind, body and soul in whichever way suits you best. This could mean treating yourself to an at-home spa night where you run yourself a bubble bath, lights candles and put on a face mask. If you like working out, try new workouts that you can do at-home or begin a yoga challenge on YouTube. Looking after yourself will make you feel a little more in control, despite everything going on.

Connect With Family And Friends Via Technology

While people enter into a period of isolation, the thought of not seeing or talking to your loved ones is a huge trigger for stress, anxiety and feelings of loneliness. However, we live in a world where we can easily connect with people pretty much anywhere, anytime. Keep in contact with loved ones through texts, phone calls, and social media and achieve near face-to-face contact via Skype and FaceTime. While not exactly the same, it’ll help you feel a little less far away from them.

I hope this post has helped those who are struggling during this time.

Stay safe and take care,

Natalie

Over the past few weeks, the coronavirus pandemic has sent many parts of the world into lockdown, causing anxiety and panic across the globe. For those who already suffer with mental issues, this widespread fear and panic will be further magnified.

As someone who experiences health anxiety, hearing about the extent of the coronavirus and the fatalities it has caused has significantly increased my anxiety. It has made me obsess over how I’m feeling, paranoid about the tiniest of changes.

However, I have found ways to minimise my anxiety so that I can remain rational and calm in the face of everything going on. In this post, I’ll be sharing the ways that I’ve been using to protect my mental health over the last few weeks, and how you can too.

Surround Yourself With Positive People

Since the beginning of the outbreak, most people I have encountered only want to talk about coronavirus and by-the-minute updates of what’s happening. While it’s inevitable that people will want to talk about it, if doing so makes you feel even more anxious and is detrimental to your mental health, feel free to limit the time you spend talking to such people. Instead, surround yourself with people who you know will bring you comfort and positivity, and won’t only want to talk about coronavirus.

Be Cautious Consuming Media

Just like people want to talk only about coronavirus, as will media outlets, including social media. Of course, keeping up to date with what’s going on is essential, be picky about where you’re getting information from. Take advice from trusted medical sources, and not things you see on your Twitter feed. If you find watching the news or listening to the radio more upsetting than informative, you are allowed to switch it over or off. Consider taking a partial or full social media detox; delete certain apps that are causing you anxiety and unfollow people who are being particularly negative or irrational.

Tap Into Your Coping Skills

Everyone has their own preferred ways of coping with stress and anxiety, and you can use these techniques when facing coronavirus anxiety. You might find it useful to practice some breathing techniques to calm your mind and body, or follow guided mindfulness meditations on apps or Youtube. You could try EFT tapping out, which calms the body using pressure points. Journalling and taking part in a creative activity may help too, so you could invest in a mindfulness colouring book or a new pretty notebook.

Keep in contact with loved ones through texts, phone calls, social media and achieve near face-to-face contact via Skype and FaceTime. While not exactly the same, it’ll help you feel a little less far away from them.

Go Easy On Yourself

My last tip is, in my eyes, the most important. Be kind to yourself. Forgive yourself for feeling overwhelmed, anxious and fearful. Remind yourself that you are allowed to feel these feelings, and that they are universal. You are not weak or being overly paranoid – you are feeling a very natural response to crisis. And know, that this too shall pass.

Thank you so much for reading and stay safe,

Love,

Natalie

Do you easily pick up on the emotions of others?  Do you find crowds exhausting and draining?  Do others come to you for support and advice?  If you answered ‘yes’ to these questions, there is a high chance that you are an empath.

An empath is described in the dictionary as ‘a person with the ability to perceive the mental or emotional state of another individual’.  Such people have an intuitive ability to know how people feel, and often take on other people’s symptoms, meaning it’s very important for them to practice self care regularly to make sure they put themselves first for a change.

In this post, I’ll be sharing 5 self care practices for empaths to use when they feel particularly overwhelmed, so that they are able to feel recharged and refreshed.

Take Regular Alone Time

Because empaths easily absorb the emotions of others (particularly in crowds and groups), it’s essential that they take as much alone time as they need.  Taking time to be on your own and listen solely to your own needs can be a very relaxing and rewarding experience.  Even taking just 5 minute breaks a few times a day will help to clear your mind.  You can also disconnect from others by turning your phone to ‘do not disturb’ so that you’re not distracted by notifications or people wanting to pull you in different directions.

Practice Grounding Tools

Having the ability to ground yourself is very important for empaths.  When you are wrapped up in the emotions and feelings of others, it can sometimes make you disassociate from your own life.  Grounding can be done via a few different ways. Mindfulness meditation is an easy way of returning back to your present life – try a guided meditation on YouTube or an app, or simply count your breaths, focusing only on your breath going in and out of your body.  You could also try earthing, which involves walking barefoot on the ground to connect you back to the earth.

Learn To Say ‘No’

We all find it very hard to say ‘no’ to things, whether that’s taking on more work, going out with friends or family commitments due to FOMO or simply not wanting to appear rude.  Actually, turning down things isn’t rude at all and is essential at times for everyone, particularly empaths.  Setting boundaries with friends who always lean on you for support, or limiting your time with a toxic family member re must-dos in order to protect your energy and look after yourself.  Overbooking and overworking yourself will just lead to emotional and physical burnout.

Get Creative To Clear Your Mind

When we have a lot going on in our minds, it can be difficult to express these thoughts and feelings in words.  However, it’s so important for our mental wellbeing that we’re able to get them out and that they don’t just ruminate in our brains for too long.  Instead of talking them through, try expressing them through journaling, art therapy such as colouring or drawing, or any other way that you feel could be helpful.  This will help recharge your mind when you’ve had a particularly draining day or experience.

Life is full of ups and downs – it has difficulties and successes, good days and bad days – some of these are in our control but most of the time they aren’t, and we are left to pick up the pieces. We can always be sure that at some point, we will have one of these ‘down’ days – so how we weather these stormy times is essential for our development, wellbeing and overall happiness.

This is called RESILIENCE. The ability to bounce back and recover from whatever life throws at you. It’s one of the most important skills we can harness, and the sooner we do it the better. That way, instead of breaking under pressure, we will bend in whatever direction it takes us. We move with it.

In this post, I’ll be sharing my seven keys to resilience – the most important aspects of harnessing your bouncebackability to make sure you’re equipped to deal with whatever life throws at you!

Build a Growth Mindset

Psychologist Carol Dweck stated that there are two mindsets – fixed and growth. In a fixed mindset, you believe your lot in life is predetermined by your natural talents and abilities, and so you can’t succeed. In a growth mindset, you believe you are always developing, so new skills and talents can come with time and practice. You can build a growth mindset by practicing affirmations, changing your self talk, and positive visualisations.

Manage Your Emotions

Managing our emotions is essential for resilience. We can do this by keeping our stress levels down, alleviating our anxieties and checking in on how we feel regularly. We can do small things to help manage our mental health such as practicing self care (click here for my Spring Self Care Checklist!), meditating, getting some exercise or journalling (here are 30 prompts to get you started).

Lean On Your Faith

In times of stress or difficulty, people tend to lean on their faith for guidance or support. Whatever your religion, it can help to trust a higher power that everything will be okay. One of my favourite books is Gabrielle Bernstein’s The Universe Has Your Back, which is all about trusting the universe that everything is working for your highest good.

Change Your Self Talk

When something bad happens, we tend to ask ‘why is this happening to me?’ One of the biggest ways I boosted my resilience was turning this question around and asking ‘why is this happening for me?’ The realisation that things are always happening FOR you and not TO you can be life changing.

Ask For Feedback

Learning to love feedback is a big key to resilience. While many see feedback as a personal criticism or attack, it can be a powerful tool to show you what’s working and what’s not in your life. Feedback can come from a tutor, a mentor, a friend or even yourself. Regularly check in with yourself to see how your life is going ( click here to find out about monthly life reviews!).

Gather a Support Network

Having a group of trusted confidantes that you know will be there for support and motivation is one of the cornerstones for life. It’s really up to you who these people are, as long as you feel comfortable talking to them as well as receiving honesty and empathy from them. Know that you aren’t going through this alone.

Set Goals For Yourself

Constantly working towards something helps us to feel fulfilled and purposeful. When something goes wrong, see it as an opportunity to set or amend a goal for yourself. The idea that one day you will achieve this goal will motivate you not to simply give up on life or that life is bad. Goals are imperative for our self growth and development.

I hope this post has helped you undertsand the concept of resilience more and how you can achieve it in your life!

Lots of love,

Natalie
