A New Moon can be a great time to manifest your desires. The moon’s cycles are very meaningful in spirituality, and a new moon is said to signify new beginnings, making it a good time to set out intentions and start manifesting your dream life!
So, in this post, I’ll be showing you how to create the perfect new moon ritual that you can carry out either on a new moon or a couple of days after, and that can boost your goals and manifestation powers.
- Invest in a new notebook.
It’s important to use a brand new notebook to write your intentions in. This helps to create a brand new slate and the energy you put into it will be solely the energy of positivity and abundance.
2. Create a peaceful space.
It’s essential to set out your manifestations in a calm and quiet space. Light some candles, incense or smudge your space by burning sage or palo santo. Perhaps use an essential oil diffuser to make the room smell beautiful and use manifestation boosting oils such as orange and tangerine. Make sure the room is tidy, and lay out some crystals if you have any.
3. Have a bath (optional).
As an optional step, run yourself a warm salt bath using dead sea or epsom salts and essential oils. This will help relax your mind and body and get you in the mood for manifesting. Feeling clean and fresh will also create a fresh start for you to set out all your new intentions.
4. Do some breathwork.
Before beginning your manifesting, it’s important to clear your mind so that you can focus on what you want to attract. Spend a few minutes practicing deep breathing, inhaling for 4 seconds and exhaling for 8. When you feel your most relaxed and grounded, you’re ready to start manifesting!
5. Write your intentions.
Optionally, you can start your list by writing the date of the new moon on top of the page. When you come to writing out your desires, there is no limit to how many you can write but it is important to word them properly. Instead of writing ‘I’d like’ or ‘I want’, write as though you already have it. Perhaps you’d write ‘I’m so grateful that…’ or ‘I’m thankful that…’. This is a powerful manifesting tool that helps you act as if, and express gratitude.
6. Meditate on your intentions.
After you’ve finished writing out your intentions, spend some time meditating on what you’d like to see come into your life, visualising your desires manifest into your reality. This will strengthen your manifestation power and help attract positive change into your life more quickly.
